After thousands of dance acts from the around the globe entered for a chance to compete for a $1 million prize, "World of Dance" has chosen its 47 contestants for its NBC competition series premiering in May.

The 10-episode series, which is being judged by Jennifer Lopez, "Dancing with the Stars" pro Derek Hough, and singer Ne-Yo and hosted by actress Jenna Dewan Tatum, was created in partnership with the global brand World of Dance.

Solo dancers, duos, and crews will be pitted against each other regardless of their dance style. The acts slated for the show's May 30 premiere range from numerous disciplines, including hip-hop, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, stomping, and more.
